Bama's Helps In the Collection
and Transport of Supplies to New Orleans,
Louisianna, for the Animal Victims of
Hurricane Katrina and Rita
"Bama's" helped the animal victims of
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita this month by
assisting in the collection of and arranging
for the transport of pet food, snacks, crates,
towels and bedding, toys, water, bleach and
medical supplies to New Orleans, Louisiana.
-Working with NJARA (New Jersey Animal Rights
Alliance) they helped moved several pallets of
supplies from volunteers' garages to a
trucking facility in Middlesex, NJ.
These supplies
were then trucked down south to the Muttshack
animal rescue organization and distributed to
many grassroots animal rescue groups working
in the New Orleans area. Thanks to all
of you who gave so generously!
Above are some
photos of Cliff, Melissa and Jackie packing up
the supplies at the loading dock in NJ.
